This page explains how to request deletion of your Golf Group Admin account and the personal data associated with it. Golf Group Admin is operated by James Simpson.
How to request deletion
To delete your account, email your request from the address associated with your account to:
- Send an email to support@golfgroupadmin.com from the email address you use to sign in.
- Use the subject line "Delete my Golf Group Admin account".
- We confirm the request and delete your account, normally within 30 days.
We ask you to write from your account's own email address so we can verify the request is really yours before deleting anything.
What is deleted
- Your login and authentication details (email, password hash).
- Your personal profile: display name, handicap index, date of birth, gender, and preferred tees.
- Your registered device push-notification tokens.
- Your group memberships and roles.
What may be kept
Golf scores and results you posted to a group may be retained by that group for the integrity of past standings and handicap history. Where retained, these records are kept in a group-owned or de-identified form and are no longer linked to your personal profile or login. We may also retain limited records where required by law.
Retention period
Personal account data is deleted within 30 days of a verified request. De-identified historical play records, where kept, are retained by the group for its ongoing standings.
