Golf Group Admin ("the app", "we", "us") helps golf groups manage members, schedules, scoring, handicaps, teams, and friendly wagers. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using Golf Group Admin you agree to the practices described here.
Who is responsible
Golf Group Admin is operated by James Simpson. For any privacy question, or to request access to or deletion of your data, contact support@golfgroupadmin.com.
Information we collect
We only collect information needed to run your golf group. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Date of birth and gender are optional and are used only to select the correct set of tees for handicap and scoring math. You can leave them blank.
How we use information
- To provide the app's features: schedules, scoring, handicaps, teams, results, and side bets.
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To send notifications you have opted into.
- To maintain, protect, and improve the service.
How information is shared
Your information is visible to administrators and members of the golf group(s) you join, to the extent needed to run the group (for example, other members can see your name, scores, and standings). Beyond that, we share data only with the service providers that make the app work:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Analytics and tracking
Golf Group Admin does not include third-party advertising, and does not use analytics SDKs or cross-app tracking. Firebase is used only to deliver push notifications, not for analytics.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Group play records (scores, results) may be retained by your group for historical standings and handicap history. When you delete your account, we remove your personal profile and login; historical scores you posted to a group may be retained in anonymized or group-owned form for the integrity of past results.
Your choices and rights
- Access & correction: view and edit your profile in the app, or contact us.
- Deletion: request account deletion by emailing support@golfgroupadmin.com. We will delete your account and personal data as described above.
- Notifications: turn push notifications off at any time in your device settings or in the app.
Security
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, connections use HTTPS, and access to group data is controlled by role-based permissions. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children's privacy
Golf Group Admin is intended for adult golf-group members and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page.
